Verification and Badge Meaning

Verification is a review of identity or business information; it is not a promise about a service’s quality, safety, or licensing.

The process

To request verification, a worker or business submits the required documents. An administrator reviews the submission before that person may purchase a verified-visibility subscription.

A rejected submission can be submitted again. Payment alone does not approve verification.

When a badge appears

A verified-worker or business badge requires an approved review and an active subscription. If the subscription lapses, is refunded, or is revoked, its public visibility and badge are removed.

Verification documents are private: they do not appear on public profiles, and review access is limited to the internal verification process.

What a badge does not mean

A badge is not a background check, license validation, professional certification, outcome guarantee, or safety recommendation. Use your own judgment before hiring or accepting a chivo.
